Welcome to HireZoneHub (“HireZoneHub,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, products, and services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1) Definitions
- Service: The site, features, content, and tools available at hirezonehub.com.
- User: Any person or entity who visits, accesses, or uses the Service.
- Job Seeker: A User who browses jobs, creates a candidate profile, submits a resume/CV, or applies to roles.
- Employer: A User who posts jobs, browses candidate profiles, or contacts Job Seekers.
- Content: Any text, images, data, links, job posts, resumes, profiles, or other materials uploaded, submitted, or otherwise made available through the Service.
- Account: A registered profile (Job Seeker or Employer) used to access portions of the Service.
2) Eligibility & Accounts
- Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company to these Terms.
- Account Responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
- Accurate Information. You agree to provide true, accurate, and complete information and to keep it updated.
- One Person, One Account (Job Seekers). Job Seekers may not create multiple accounts to bypass limits or restrictions.
3) Platform Purpose & Relationship of Parties
Marketplace Role. HireZoneHub is a job marketplace and communications platform. We are not an employer of Job Seekers, nor do we guarantee employment, candidate suitability, interview offers, or job outcomes.
Contact Sharing. To enable job matching:
- When a Job Seeker applies to a role, the Job Seeker’s email address (and other application details the Job Seeker chooses to provide) may be shared with the Employer for follow-up contact.
- Employers’ contact details (e.g., email, phone, application link, or website) may be displayed to Job Seekers as part of a job listing.
Such exchanges occur pursuant to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
No Endorsement. We do not endorse or guarantee any employer, job, or candidate. Users should conduct their own due diligence.
4) Acceptable Use & Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Service or assist others in doing so. Prohibited activities include (without limitation):
- Posting false, misleading, or deceptive job listings, resumes, or profiles.
- Scraping, harvesting, or collecting users’ data without consent, or for spamming or marketing unrelated to a posted job or application.
- Posting content that is unlawful, discriminatory, defamatory, harassing, obscene, or infringes third-party rights.
- Bypassing or interfering with security or access controls, introducing malware, or overloading the Service.
- Reposting job listings or candidate data outside the Service without lawful basis and consent where required.
- Any use that violates applicable employment, privacy, or anti-discrimination laws and regulations.
5) User Content, Licenses & IP
- Your Content. You retain ownership of Content you submit. By submitting Content, you grant HireZoneHub a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute such Content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.
- Responsibility. You are solely responsible for your Content and for ensuring that you have all rights necessary to submit it and to grant the license above.
- Third-Party Rights. Do not submit Content that violates intellectual property or privacy rights. We may remove or disable Content alleged to be infringing and may terminate repeat infringers.
- Trademarks & Site IP. All HireZoneHub trademarks, logos, and site materials (excluding User Content) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these Terms.
6) Job Listings & Candidate Profiles
- Accuracy. Employers must ensure listings are accurate, lawful, non-discriminatory, and current (e.g., job title, location, compensation if disclosed, requirements, and how to apply).
- Timeliness. Employers agree to promptly close or update roles when filled or withdrawn.
- No Guarantees. We do not guarantee candidate quality, suitability, or application volume; likewise, we do not guarantee Job Seekers will receive interviews or offers.
- Screening & Verification. Any screening, background checks, or verification are the responsibility of Users, unless otherwise stated in a specific paid feature.
7) Fees, Billing & Refunds
- Fees. Certain features (e.g., premium listings, employer branding, candidate database access) may require payment. Prices and features will be disclosed at the point of purchase and may change from time to time.
- Billing. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method for all fees incurred. You are responsible for taxes, where applicable.
- Auto-Renewal (If Applicable). Some plans may auto-renew unless canceled before the renewal date. Renewal terms will be displayed during purchase.
- Refunds. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise at purchase, fees are non-refundable. If a technical fault attributable to HireZoneHub materially prevents delivery of a purchased feature and cannot be remedied within a reasonable time, we may, at our discretion, issue a pro-rated credit or refund.
- Chargebacks. Disputing a valid charge without basis may result in suspension or termination. Contact us first to resolve billing issues.
8) Privacy, Cookies & Data Sharing
- Privacy Policy. Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect and how we use, share, and protect it.
- Contact Sharing. As part of the matching process, Job Seekers’ email addresses and application details may be shared with Employers; Employers’ contact details may be displayed to Job Seekers. You consent to this sharing to facilitate job applications and communications.
- Cookies. We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, analytics, and advertising (including Google services). You can manage preferences via your browser or our cookie notice where available.
9) Third-Party Services, Links & Ads
- Third-Party Services. The Service may integrate with or link to third-party websites, tools, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.
- Advertising & Disclosures. Ads (including Google AdSense) may appear on the Service. Ads do not constitute endorsements. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and the advertiser.
10) Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect the Service. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. You use the Service at your own risk and should employ appropriate safeguards.
11) Copyright Complaints
If you believe Content on the Service infringes your copyright, please email admin@hirezonehub.com with: (a) your contact details, (b) a description of the work allegedly infringed, (c) the URL/location of the material, (d) a statement of good-faith belief that use is not authorized, and (e) a statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
12) Suspension & Termination
- We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms, created risk or possible legal exposure for us, or for scheduled/unscheduled maintenance.
- Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, but provisions that by their nature should survive (e.g., intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, indemnity) will survive.
13) Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RESULTS WILL BE ACCURATE OR RELIABLE.
14) Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL HIREZONEHUB, ITS AFFILIATES, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US (IF ANY) IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
15) Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless HireZoneHub and its affiliates, officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use of the Service; (b) your Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
16) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
- Dispute Resolution. The parties will first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by email. If unresolved after thirty (30) days, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Nairobi, Kenya, unless the parties agree to an alternative method of resolution such as arbitration or mediation.
17) Changes to the Service & Terms
We may modify or discontinue the Service (in whole or part) at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Terms with an effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
18) Miscellaneous
- Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any product-specific terms provided at purchase, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
- Severability. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
- No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.
- Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms without restriction.
- Force Majeure. We are not liable for any delays or failures due to events beyond our reasonable control.
- Electronic Communications. You consent to receive communications from us electronically and agree that all terms, notices, disclosures, and other communications we provide electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.
